As with any discipline or industry, remodeling and construction comes with its own language. Many times in starting a new project a homeowner will be unfamiliar with the terms or language used. This can sometimes be a bit intimidating to the homeowner which can have the effect of adding miscommunication of project desires or wants into the project. We want you to feel comfortable with the language and know exactly what is meant when specific phrases or terms are used. In order to help achieve this we have attempted to compile as many terms, phrases and jargon along with their specific definitions.
